Our Story
It all started with a two-hour drive, every second weekend.
Our founder used to travel from the Free State to Johannesburg just to get her 2-year-old daughter’s hair done. Not by choice, but because there was nowhere nearby that offered gentle, patient care for textured hair.
A year later, she moved to the city and built what she had been searching for: a kids’ salon where hair is honoured, children are treated with care and parents feel supported.
As more families walked through the doors, the same struggles appeared, tears, tangles, dryness and parents who wanted to help but didn’t know how.
So the products came. Gentle, plant-based, and made to continue the care at home.
Today, DoodleKids is both the space and the solution.
